Specific objectives
SO1: Policies and regulations are validated to foster the development and use of ICT connectivity
SO2: Improved transparent and inclusive access to public and private connectivity services, with a focus on rural areas, gender equality and marginalised groups
SO3: The use of satellite-based technologies has sustainably increased to foster local digital innovation and tackle local challenges
S04: Comprehensive cybersecurity frameworks and cybersecurity capacity and awareness are promoted among stakeholders
Latvian IT Cluster, together with Expertise France, will work on the SO3 results. Over the course of four years, a regional Digital Innovation Network will be established to map and assess the Central Asian ecosystem, carry out exploratory visits, and engage stakeholders through cooperation events. At the same time, the partnership will incubate and accelerate satellite-enabled ICT solutions by supporting regional business organizations, hosting hackathons and innovation challenges, providing technical expertise to selected projects, delivering inclusive training courses, and conducting targeted outreach to rural and marginalized communities.
