A successful trade mission to Finland concluded this week, the aim of which was to promote new contacts and cooperation between Latvian and Finnish companies in the field of IT and cybersecurity.
The trade mission was attended by Latvian companies such as LMT Innovations , Zen IS , Corporate Solutions Group and SIA ELIGENT , which represented the Latvian IT industry and presented their innovations.
The delegation visited the Latvian Embassy in Finland, where they met with the Latvian Ambassador to Finland, Daci Treija-Mas, and the Head of the Latvian Investment and Development Agency (LIAA) Representative Office in Finland, Gati Ozoliņš.
Special attention was paid to the Cyber Security Nordic Forum , where Latvian companies gained valuable insights into the Finnish cybersecurity market and its development trends. The forum is a platform that brings together companies, experts and industry leaders to discuss current cybersecurity challenges, solutions and innovations, promoting cooperation between the public and private sectors.
During the event, the delegation gained insight into the specifics of the Finnish IT market, where areas such as artificial intelligence (AI), the data economy and sustainability are emphasized. Expert presentations highlighted the potential for cooperation between Finland and the Baltic States, while emphasizing the similarity in the business approach of both countries – high-quality work that requires more active marketing.
The trade mission demonstrated the willingness of entrepreneurs from both countries to work together to develop innovative solutions and promote the growth of the digital economy.
