RAISE
The RAISE project was created in response to the increasing pressure faced by small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the Central Baltic region to remain competitive and drive innovation in an increasingly digitalised and globalised market. While artificial intelligence (AI) offers significant opportunities for growth and efficiency, many SMEs lack the knowledge, resources and confidence needed to successfully implement AI solutions.
To address this challenge, the RAISE project supports growth-stage companies in Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Sweden by providing expert mentoring, networking with AI solution developers and targeted co-financing opportunities. By enhancing the ability of SMEs to develop and implement new AI-based products and services, the project helps to improve business efficiency, increase product added value and expand export potential.
The main goal of the RAISE project is to strengthen the competitiveness and growth capacity of companies in the region, while promoting sustainable revenue growth through the practical implementation of artificial intelligence solutions.
Achievable results :
The RAISE project will support growth- and export-oriented small and medium-sized enterprises in Estonia, Latvia, Finland and Sweden by helping them test and implement artificial intelligence solutions through a structured growth program.
The project will analyze and evaluate AI pilot project ideas submitted by at least 40 SMEs, of which 16 companies with the highest growth potential will be selected to participate in a mentoring program, establish cooperation with AI solution developers, receive practical training, and develop joint solutions.
Thanks to cross-border cooperation, workshops and the closing Demo Day event, participating SMEs will develop innovative, artificial intelligence-based products and services, while AI solution developers will gain international experience in implementing solutions and increase their visibility.
The project will strengthen the competitiveness, investment readiness and export capacity of SMEs in the Central Baltic region, while promoting long-term cooperation between companies and innovation organizations.
In addition, the methodologies, training materials and AI readiness assessment tools developed within the RAISE project will be integrated into the project partners' ongoing service offering, ensuring sustainable impact and continuous support for the implementation of artificial intelligence solutions even after the project ends.
