In early March, the Latvian IT cluster, together with its member companies, traveled to the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona with the aim of strengthening international cooperation.

With more than 100,000 technology industry professionals from around the world, Mobile World Congress once again confirmed its importance as one of the world's most important platforms where future technology trends are formed, with a strong emphasis on promoting international cooperation.

The Latvian IT cluster also participated in the event to meet with international partners, strengthen existing contacts, and gain insight into the latest innovations in the technology sector.

This year, several areas of technology development stood out at the exhibition - artificial intelligence as the basis for an increasingly wide range of digital solutions, 5G and next-generation connectivity solutions for businesses and industry, edge computing or data processing closer to devices, as well as robotics and automation in business processes.

Our member companies CSC Telecom and Hortus DIGITAL participated in the Latvian stand. In turn, other cluster members – Latvijas Mobilais Telefons, Tet, Corporate Solutions and Balticom – also visited the exhibition and actively worked on new international cooperation opportunities.

Mobile World Congress once again confirmed that the future of technology is shaped by collaboration, innovation, and international partnership networks.

The activity was implemented within the framework of project No. 5.1.1.2.i.0/3/24/A/CFLA/010 “Cluster support for the internationalization and development of the ICT sector”.
