Latvian IT cluster promotes digitalization of companies in Tajikistan
Latvian IT cluster continues work in Tajikistan: from digital readiness assessment to artificial intelligence pilot projects.
At the end of October 2026, a team of experts from the Latvian IT cluster returned to Tajikistan to continue supporting the digital transformation of local small and medium-sized enterprises. The visit continued the activities launched in August, during which the challenges of companies were identified and 90-day digital development action plans were developed. Currently, the cooperation has entered the practical implementation stage.
During the visit, a seminar “Digital Sales Model: E-Commerce and Export for Manufacturers – From First Contact with a Customer to Repeat Orders” was organized in Khujand in cooperation with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Sughd Region. The seminar was led by Artūrs Pielēns-Pelēns, an expert from the Latvian IT cluster, who shared his experience in developing digital sales processes, reaching new markets, and building sustainable customer relationships using digital tools and e-commerce solutions. The event brought together a wide range of representatives of local businesses and regional organizations, as well as attracted the attention of local media.
In parallel with the seminar, experts from the Latvian IT cluster continued their work with two Isfara companies – Barakat Isfara and Mevai Zarrin, implementing artificial intelligence pilot projects using RixMind AI solutions developed in Latvia and tailored to the specific needs of the companies. They provide support in sales processes, improving customer request processing, identifying potential customers and communicating with customers, as well as assistance in improving marketing processes, including the development of product descriptions, social media content and sales materials.
The goal of the pilot projects is to practically demonstrate how artificial intelligence can help companies solve their daily challenges, increase operational efficiency, and promote growth.
"The goal of the Latvian IT cluster is not only to transfer knowledge, but also to help companies turn digital transformation opportunities into real business results," emphasizes Nellija Mahova (Leading Expert on Digital Transformation at the Latvian IT Cluster).
Digital transformation activities and cooperation with local partners, ensuring the transition of companies from the initial needs assessment to the implementation of specific digital solutions, were coordinated by the Latvian IT Cluster.
The initiative is implemented in cooperation with the Rural Community Development Agency (RCDA), and the project is funded by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Latvia.
