Project summary


"Keep the Nordic-Baltic region moving" project aims to deepen cooperation among Intelligent

Transport Systems (ITS) clusters, specifically the further integration of ITS Latvia, ITS Estonia in the Nordic+ cooperative format which is led by ITS Norway. Through knowledge and experience

transfer, as well as networking, the project will enhance cluster capacity and foster collaboration in the ITS ecosystems of the region.


Key activities include:


Experience Exchange: Visit to ITS Norway in September and a visit to ITS Latvia in

November/December to learn about best practices in creating a strong local innovation ecosystem and partnership with stakeholders.


Experience sharing with ITS Estonia, ITS Norway and ITS Latvia representatives.


Network Cooperation:

Participation in the "InformNorden" event will enable networking around mobility topics of joint

importance in the Nordic-Baltic region, supporting collaboration with transport authorities and

digital enterprises, to advance sustainable mobility development with a focus on public transport.


Knowledge Transfer:

Webinar series on joint Nordic-Baltic mobility challenges - low emissions zones and logistics

Organized online ideation sessions will strengthen the Baltic Sea Region ITS network through

enhanced experience exchange and knowledge transfer.


Additionally, work will be done on consensus building with the aim to develop a joint project

concept, and as an option work towards joint submission.
