The Cluster Booster Academy program, which began in November 2024, concluded in March this year with an in-person meeting in Warsaw. The program aimed to challenge the cluster mindset in communicating with members by offering cluster services. This was done by sharing experiences and exchanging contacts, which will be valuable in future work, but the greatest emphasis was placed on promoting cooperation and innovation to create new value chains in Europe.

“Cluster meets Regions” The “Clusters Meet Regions” event, organised by ECCP in collaboration with Brainport Development, AgriFood Capital and the Province of Noord-Brabant, took place in Eindhoven on 26-27 March 2025. The event was attended by around 200 participants from 18 countries, including cluster representatives, policy makers, entrepreneurs and researchers.

The conference aimed to promote the exchange of ideas and experiences on regional cluster policies and future European Union initiatives. It highlighted the importance of clusters in promoting innovation, supporting sustainable development and strengthening the resilience of regions across Europe.

Laura Zeibote, project manager of the Latvian IT cluster, sharing her experience after the event, emphasizes that the main lessons learned are based on the importance of cooperation between clusters from different countries. Meeting in person is both inspiring and allows you to gain new contacts for potential future collaborations.

The event also discussed a lot about the current situation – how acute the shortage of talented workers is and how difficult it can be to retain them.

“Participation in the events was implemented within the framework of project No. 5.1.1.2.i.0/3/24/A/CFLA/010 “Cluster support for the internationalization and development of the ICT industry”.
