The “Mobility-As-A-Goal” Project for Smart and Sustainable Mobility in the Baltics

The “Mobility-as-a-Goal” project aims to address urban and regional mobility challenges and explore best practices for making mobility smarter and more sustainable. It also seeks to strengthen the capacity of ITS Finland, ITS Latvia, and ITS Estonia and enhance cooperation between the organisations, laying the foundation for future joint projects and initiatives.

Key activities:

Working groups to discuss urban and regional mobility challenges, bringing together national and local public authorities, industry stakeholders, businesses, and non-governmental organisations.
A study visit to Finland to exchange experience and learn about successful practices and solutions in the field of mobility.
Identification of opportunities for future cooperation to build on the project’s results, for example, through joint project proposals submitted to open calls or the development of recommendations for stakeholders on how to further address the identified challenges.

Implementation period: 1 June 2026 – 31 December 2026

Budget: EUR 10,000
