ResC4EU Final Event at KOMPOZYT-EXPO 2026 – Building Resilient European Supply Chains

The ResC4EU consortium will hold its Final Event at this year’s KOMPOZYT-EXPO®, the International Trade Fair for Composite Materials, Technologies and Products, on 7–8 October 2026 in Kraków, Poland. The event will showcase how ResC4EU has supported European SMEs in becoming more resilient, sustainable and better prepared for supply chain disruptions.

A major highlight will be the dedicated two-hour ResC4EU Main Stage Session on 7 October from 13:00–15:00 (local time), entitled “Building Resilient European Supply Chains – The ResC4EU Journey, Results and Lasting Impact”. The programme will present the project results, practical tools, SME success stories and lessons learned, followed by an expert panel on how companies can strengthen resilience through European cooperation and industry clusters.

Visit the ResC4EU booth (D54). All project partners will be present at KOMPOZYT-EXPO®, giving visitors the opportunity to meet cluster representatives, research organisations, technology experts and business support organisations from across Europe. Companies are invited to discuss supply chain challenges, explore ResC4EU tools and demonstrators and identify new business cooperation opportunities.

The composites industry is a key application area for ResC4EU, with international value chains relying on specialised materials, technologies and suppliers. Many resilience challenges are also shared across sectors, enabling solutions and experience to be transferred between industries.

During the project, ResC4EU has supported manufacturing SMEs with risk assessment, supplier and logistics analysis, sustainability tools, production improvement and business matchmaking. Technology-oriented SMEs have benefited from access to industrial users, networking and new business collaborations.

The consortium includes Composites United e.V., the Polish Cluster of Composite Technologies, the Latvian Information Technology Cluster, the Advanced Technologies in Manufacturing Cluster, the Maritime Cluster Northern Germany e.V., Scaberia AS, GreenTwin GmbH, the Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics and the Fraunhofer Institute for Casting, Composites and Processing Technology.

ResC4EU is approaching the end of its funded project period, but its tools, knowledge and European cooperation network are designed to continue supporting SMEs beyond the project lifetime.
