Latvian IT cluster strengthens cooperation with Mediterranean partners at Euromed Days 2026
The Latvian IT cluster participated in Euromed Days 2026 in Nicosia, Cyprus, where clusters, entrepreneurs, investment organizations, and public sector representatives from Europe and the Southern Mediterranean countries met.
The event focused on practical cooperation - how to build stronger partnerships between Europe and the Mediterranean region, develop shared value chains, and use the opportunities provided by digital transformation for business growth.
This was an opportunity for the Latvian IT cluster to share its experience in the Latvian digital industry, meet potential cooperation partners and discuss specific opportunities for Latvian technology companies. Cluster meetings, pitching sessions and B2B conversations were particularly valuable, allowing for the identification of new forms of cooperation.
"Clusters play a vital role in building international partnerships, as they create an environment in which companies and organizations can develop practical and sustainable cooperation between the EU and the Southern Mediterranean countries," emphasized Alise Proveja, representative of the Latvian IT cluster, while participating in the discussion "Testimonials in forging value chains cooperation's between EU & South Med Countries".
Participation in Euromed Days 2026 helped expand the Latvian IT cluster's international contacts and marked new opportunities for cooperation with organizations and companies in the Mediterranean region.
