Export support for Latvian IT cluster members in the Indian market

We invite members of the Latvian IT cluster who plan to expand exports to India to participate in the activities of the "eMesai" project and receive 75% support.

The project is being implemented together with partners Estonian ICT Cluster (Estonia), RI.SE (Sweden) as a continuation of the successful ICT Meta Cluster project.

Export destination countries: Indian regions: Karnataka, Maharashtra, Delhi, Telangana

Beneficiaries: SMEs – members of the Latvian IT cluster

Service provider: European Business and Technology Centre (EBTC) in India, New Delhi

Export support service:

1. EBTC will engage with the EU companies and gather all the required information via one-to-one interactions;

2. Based on the information gathered from the EU companies EBTC will create a long list of Indian potential partners (SMEs, accelerators, incubators, potential investors, mentors, potential partners and customers);

3. EBTC will engage with the long list of Indian companies to identify their interest in collaborating with the EU company. Based on this, three to ‑ve companies will be shortlisted for the EU company to the next matchmaking process

4. EBTC will organize the meetings with the decision makers of the Indian companies

5. The B2B meeting will take place online and EBTC together with RISE will support the SME with the meeting.

Service scope and support:

1. 40 consulting hours for 1 SME

2. 5000 EUR (75% - de minimis aid, 25% - company co-financing)

Requirements for the recipient of the support: After receiving the support, by 1.05.2021, provide a "case study" on the development of a new market (first transaction, conclusion of a cooperation agreement, start of testing, etc.) in India or another of the eMesai project target countries (Sub-Saharan African countries or the UAE).
