TAPOST 2017 Call for Papers

We invite delegates from around the world to join us for the 18th annual TAPOST (Theory and Practice of Software Testing) Conference in Riga, Latvia, on 11 - 12 October 2017. The first day will be dedicated to full-day training sessions or workshops. The second day will host conference presentations and brief workshops.

Our theme for TAPOST 2017 is Testing on the Go. We encourage proposals for workshops addressing any aspect of this theme, including (but not limited to):

  • Continuous testing

  • Acceptance testing in a real world

  • Testing software for tablets and mobile devices

  • Performance and real-time testing challenges

  • Testing of wearable devices

  • Usability and user experience testing

  • Crowdsourced testing

  • Accessibility testing

  • Multi-language testing

We welcome submissions for individual papers or workshop proposals. Postgraduate student participation is strongly encouraged.

How to make a submission

Please send proposals for individual presentations or workshops to info@tapost.org by 15 May 2017. We plan to provide confirmations from 30 June 2017.

Presentation proposals should include:

  • Title

  • Format of the presentation: brief (15 min. - presentation, 5 min. - questions) or long (30 min. - presentation, 10 min. - questions)

  • Abstract (up to 150 words)

  • The name, affiliation, and email address of the presenter

Workshop proposals should include:

  • Proposed length of the workshop (e.g. 60-90 min, 90-120 min)

  • Abstract (up to 150 words)

  • The name, affiliation, and email address of the presenter
