Market assessment and selection

This workshop provides participants with concepts and tools to systematically analyze and select international target markets. First, frameworks and indicators to select countries will be discussed. In the following, a deep-dive into the assessment of industry attractiveness within a target market will be provided.

Tentative topics:

  • Introduction into international business activities
  • The role of market assessment and selection
  • Assessment and selection tools (scorecards, indices, checklists, expert opinions, funnels, etc.)
  • Assessing a portfolio of country operations (Growth/Share matrix, etc.)
