In the meeting there were analysed IT market trends and discussed ways to encourage Latvian IT exports. The meeting was held in the Embassy of the Republic of Latvia in the Kingdom of Sweden, participating Latvian Ambassador of Sweden Gints Jegermanis, LIDA, Executive director of Latvian IT Cluster Lilita Sparāne, representatives from National Library of Latvia and the Latvian IT companies.

Latvian IT Cluster Executive director Lilita Sparāne presented the Latvian digitization plans in terms of next year's big challenge - Latvian Presidency of the EU Council and the general promotion of export opportunities abroad. In presentation she highlighted that this kind of cooperation with the Swedish various sectors and regions have developed since 2006, both through joint projects and promoting the development of networking in order to strengthen the competitiveness of the Baltic Sea region.
