Scope and goal

The TAPOST 2012 conference continues a series of annual conferences started in 2000. The objective of the conference is to establish a communication and knowledge sharing on software testing among all types of IT professionals, researchers and students. Priority is given to the industry experience and frontier theories.

Suggested topics

Managing the maturity of testing process:
 Models of testing
 Standards for testing

Efficient testing in competitive IT market:
• Outsourcing of testing
• Innovative methods, processes, environments for testing process and testers
• Testing in Cloud environments
• Testing tools
• Test automation
• Risk-based testing

Other challenging testing topics:
 Usability testing
 Non-functional testing (performance, reliability, etc.)
 Efficient testing documentation
 Security testing
 Academic research in testing area

Submission guidelines

Two types of presentations are planned – short (15 min. of presentation, 5 min. for questions) and long (30 min. of presentation, 10 min. for questions).
The submission should include a meaningful abstract of your presentation (up to 3 pages), indication of presentation type (short or long), a short biography and full contact details. 

Conference language – English.

The applicants are encouraged to team up with other applicants to create a joint presentation.
All submitted materials will be published in the conference proceedings.

Important dates

Deadline for abstracts: March 7, 2012
Notification of acceptance, program ready: March 21, 2012
Camera-ready presentations and abstracts: May 2, 2012
Conference date: May 16, 2011
